Hellenic American University has a cooperation agreement with the Hellenic American Education Center in Athens that enables the University to offer its undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Greece. The Hellenic American Education Center is a non-profit educational entity licensed by the Greek Ministry of Education to provide such programs at its facilities.  Upon successful completion of their studies and the fulfillment of all degree requirements as specified in the relevant University Catalog and Student Handbook, participants in these degree programs are granted a degree directly from Hellenic American University.

All courses of Hellenic American University in Athens are offered on the campus of HAEC.

    President Leonidas Phoebus Koskos named Chevalier de L’Ordre des Palmes Académiques

    The President of Hellenic American University, Leonidas Phoebus Koskos, was recently decorated a Chevalier de L’Ordre des Palmes Académiques by the French Government in recognition of his contribution to furthering French-Greek relations in higher education. Mr. Koskos received the medal at a ceremony that was held on May 23, 2013 at the Institut Français de Grèce.

    On Saturday, June 22nd, the Hellenic American Education Center will be hosting a one-day event titled “School Psychology: Past, Present and Future”. The event will address issues that professionals working in schools as well as other professionals who work with children and adolescents face.
